The redesign

The clear challenge of this project was creating a sound for Ryu's Granite blast that did not become to repetitive. I think I nailed the synthesis and processing for each sound and in my opinion, everything comes together in a way that feels natural and doesn't stand out as unoriginal sound design. I carefully crafted all of the synthesized sounds with unison and paid attention to small character movements with foley to make this scene feel even more alive.
